Applications for The Network talent scheme now open!

The Network is a FREE intensive introduction to working in the TV industry, run by the world’s leading TV festival – The Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival. Get one of the 50 places on The Network and you’ll spend 4 days in Edinburgh learning practical TV making skills from top programme makers. 

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 31st March, 2014.

Please ensure that you have read the criteria fully before making your application:

  • You must be over 18 years of age by August 2014
  • If you are in full time education you must currently be in your final year of college/university and available for work in 2014
  • This is not a scheme for presenters. The Network is a training opportunity for those who want to work behind the camera.
  • You must have less than 3 months PAID experience in TV, anything over and you will not be eligible to apply.

The Network is hosting a twitter Q&A on Thursday 13 Febraury at 12pm. Join The Network Team and talent executives from BBC, ITV and Channel 4. It's your chance to ask questions and get advice on entering the industry, as well as application hints.
