Kwadjo started his career in Factual TV before quickly establishing himself as a respected Drama producer at ITV. Whilst at  ITV Studios he was involved in developing and producing a number of high-end factual drama series. His credits included Appropriate Adult (as co-producer), Mrs Biggs (producer) The Widower (producer) and Cilla (producer).

The Bafta award winning producer now heads up Drama at Sugar Films. Sugar was launched last year by former CCO of the BBC Pat Younge and Senior TV executives Narinder Minhas, Nav Raman and Lucy Pilkington, some of most senior execs of colour in the industry. The new 360° media company have just received a significant investment from Sky and aims to integrate television content, digital production and creative solutions to create bold, entertaining and provocative programming for young, mainstream and diverse audiences.

As their Creative Director of Drama Kwadjo is always on the look out for great stories to turn into compelling dramas for mainstream audiences. He is also keen to meet talented writers, directors, actors and creative teams. Whether established, or up-and-coming, Sugar want to collaborate with people who are unafraid of pushing creative boundaries in order to make distinctive programmes of the highest quality.
