Everyone loves a good laugh.  But bringing to life the next big comedy idea, spotting the promise of a new comic talent, realising the potential in an early script, is more than a matter of taste.  It’s a genre that every broadcaster wants to get right and requires huge talent and skill.  This is your chance to speed date the best in the business.

If you’re a budding producer, writer, director or comic; if you’re passionate about making audiences laugh; this is your chance to get inspiration and advice from the seasoned pros including:

It’s the latest in the successful series of RTS Futures Speed Date events.  Ticket-holders will have the chance to “speed date” some of the very best commissioners and programme makers working in this genre.  Each expert is ready and waiting to offer up valuable advice, whether tips on writing or directing, advice on pitching ideas, or tips on developing your own passion projects.  You’ll have to talk fast though, as you only have three minute to impress and find out what you need.

 

How to Book

This event is open to all RTS Futures members but is designed for those with no more than two years’ television experience.  The cost is £10.00.  To book a place you (and any guest/s you book a place for) MUST be a member of RTS Futures.  If you are an existing member please ring the Events Department on 020 7822 2820 with your Credit/Debit Card ready or email events@rts.org.uk providing your name, postal address, email address and phone number (we will then contact you to request credit card details), otherwise please register as a member at www.rtsfutures.org.uk before attempting to book.
