This is the final feature ahead of the Screen Nation Digital-iS Media Awards this Sunday. Friday 18th December is the last day to cast your votes, so make sure your voice is heard. Let's take a look at the nominees for Favourite Online Presenter. 

Aaron Roach Bridgeman – Musicalize, SBTV, Various

This North-West London creative is a journalist, poet, actor, host and presenter on popular online music channel SBTV. Aaron has proven to be very popular having the honour of interviewing some of the hottest superstars in the world including Kelly Rowland, Usher, Will I Am and Usain Bolt and he has graced the red carpet at event such as The Expendables UK Premier, Capital FM Summertime Ball and many many more.

 

Claire Clottey – Media Spotlight UK, Bang FM, various

Claire Clottey is a multi-dimensional presenter with an excellent reputation for her personable manner, engaging humour, eloquent diction, refreshing honesty and visible passion for creativity. As the distinctive voice on #TheConversation, a news and current affairs show on Bang Radio 103.6FM, Claire is known for her ability to engage a range of audiences in learning through media and popular culture.

Her presenting and hosting talents have seen her become a contributor to globally renowned JumpOffTVUK debates,  presenter of #SoHeSays (produced by multi-award winning web series producers Brothers With No Game), host for outstanding events such as national Natural Hair Week UK 2015, GUBA Awards 2015 and the BFMIFF-Black Film Makers International Film Festival, as well as film screenings such as AWOL, directed by Fredi Nwaka and starring Chucky Venn. Fusing her interest in socio-political development and broadcasting, it’s no surprise that Claire continues to be head-hunted for bespoke events that inform, entertain and inspire the masses.

 

Jacqueline Shepherd – What's Up, various 

From chatting to the stars in the world of music, film and television to handling topical and sensitive items, Jacqueline is your go to presenter for all things current affairs and lifestyle delivering interviews and discussions as only she can… comfortably, credibly and charismatically. She can be seen gracing the small screen as an anchor for popular arts and culture magazine show What's Up on SKY 1. In this role, she has demonstrated her ease at taking on current affairs features such as FGM,  lifestyle items like the resurgence of afro hair as well as entertainment interviews with greats such as Nile Rodgers. Jacqueline can also be heard on TV as the voice behind Trace Sport Stars where she narrate the channel's premium content which is available in 105 countries worldwide, as well as flagship shows such as Star Block Work Out, Trace Sports Diaries and continuity. She also spent 3 years at Colourful Radio delivering the juciest gossip each week on Curtis Walker's Drive Time show, before taking on her own mid-morning show Colourful Life.

 

Remel London – The Show Room, Link Up TV, various

Remel London is a bubbly, energetic, award winning TV & Radio presenter and media personality. Known for her love of UK music she is the face and lead presenter of Link Up TV, ILUVLIVE and SKY 1’s What’s Up and has racked up over 10,000 followers on twitter, over 5000 connections on Facebook and over 3 million views combined across several YouTube channels. Her presenting style is comedic, warm and relaxed which credits her healthy knowledge of all things showbiz, music and entertainment. As well as producing entertainment content Remel is a noted urban music specialist and for this reason she was elected a position on the MOBO Awards music industry panel from 2013 – 2015.

As a freelance broadcaster Remel can also be seen covering live events across several television channels, such as internationally known HiTV, ABN TV and Vox Africa on the popular chat show Ladies Talk with Angie Lemar. Remel executively produced her own entertainment show The Show Room in 2014 & 2015 and sets her sights on being an international radio and TV personality. She is also very passionate about her local community and is the founder of the highly recognised showcase and networking event The RateMePlz Live Show, created to support emerging talent across the country.

 

Ria Hebden – MOBO TV, SceneTV, various 

Ria Hebden is a vivacious and tenacious presenter who loves music, showbiz and yoga. Passionate about covering events that celebrate diversity, champion women and inspire the next generation, Ria is also a popular event host and panellist; her most recent career highlight was hosting the inspirational youth event ‘I’m Possible’ at the House of Commons. Ria has also interviewed some of the biggest names in showbiz on the red carpet at the MOBO Awards for ITV2Idris Elba at the Screen Nation AwardsPhillip Schofield at The Princes Trust Celebrate Success Awards and most recently, Sir Lenny Henry for MOBO TV.

This year, Ria worked at the BBC on the BAME Expert Voices initiative (which was nominated for a European Diversity Award ) where she found a broad range of candidates specifically from ethnic backgrounds to participate in five, regional training days. Ria planned, coordinated and hosted all five events which prepared 105 experts to make their debut in broadcasting. In addition to presenting, Ria also writes for online music entertainment magazine Flavour Mag and broadcasts daily, live on multiple drive time shows for the BBC, Eagle Radio and SmoothFM.

 

Vanessa Sanyauke – Girls Talk London, various

Vanessa is the founder of Girls Talk London, an online panel talk show that provides inspiration and tips from leading experts on fashion, beauty, careers, business, health and well-being alongside conversation on current news. She has been a trustee of national youth volunteering charity vInspired and was Co-Chair of the Spirit of London Awards Select Committee in 2012 producing their biggest ever show at London’s 02 Arena.

Vanessa started her first social enterprise in 2008, The Rafiki Network, which won multiple awards providing mentoring & training services for over 2,000 young people in London. She is also a regular speaker and contributor on gender diversity and corporate social responsibility for Google, Institute of Directors, Houses of Parliament, 02 News, BBC Radio London, BBC Radio 4 Today Show, Entrepreneur Country, The Sun Newspaper, Voice News & Inside Government. The 9th March 2015 issue of Look Magazine featured Vanessa as one of the most inspiring women in the UK.
