SceneProfiles| VoxAfrica – 2014 Screen Nation Award Nominee

In the run up to the 9th Screen Nation Awards, SceneTV will be featuring all of the nominees in the public voting categories. Next up is VoxAfrica who are up for the Favourite Black Channel award.

Spotting a gap in the market, VoxAfrica (Sky 218 , Dstv191 and Gotv16 was created in 2007 as the first panafrican, independent and bilingual channel. The channel’s mission is to “change the way the world sees Africa” through an innovative Afro-centric approach to news, general entertainment, television production and broadcasting. Afrobuzz is a popular 15 minute Afro-centric entertainment show. It features interviews and reviews of film, fashion, art and music from the UK, Africa and Worldwide.

 

Ladies Talk is a daytime talk show hosted by Angie Le Mar and features panellists Jacqui Joseph, Jasmine Dotiwala and Jackie Michael.
