Raindance Film Festival is pleased to announce the UK’s first independent web film festival. The festival will take place 28th and 29th September during the Raindance Film Festival at the Apollo Cinema in London’s Piccadilly Circus.
The internet has created so many new opportunities for independent filmmakers, and web series have become the new short form content that creatives and studio executives have started looking at in order to find the next generation of filmmakers.
Writers, directors, producers and actors are all making their own web series and on the way learning the essential skills of cultivating a loyal audience for their shows.
Raindance is looking for some of the best independent web series from around the world for our inaugural London Web Fest. The weekend will feature screenings of web series episodes as well as some educational and informative panels which when alongside the Raindance’s feature film and shorts programmes means London will be the place to be in September.
