In March 2016, Idris Elba donned his special coat (or cape if you like) to play the angst-ridden TV cop Luther, however this time, it was for a BBC Comic Relief special. Comic Relief is a biennial charity event which brings talent from the world of sport and entertainment together to raise money for the most vulnerable people in the UK and around the world. It's been some time but now the 7 minute short was made available to watch again online, just in time for the holiday season.
Directed by Destiny Ekaragha, Elba is joined by Lenny Henry, Rio Ferdinand, David Haye, Denise Lewis, Cecilia Noble, Louis Smith, Ruth Wilson, Ian Wright and a very special guest. The result is hilarious – see for yourself:
