British actor Aml Ameen joins the star-studded cast for upcoming American movie 'The Butler'. The film, written and directed by Lee Daniels, tells the story of Eugene Allen, the late White House butler who served eight presidents during his tenure from 1952 to 1986. Forest Whitaker is set to play Allen with Ameen taking on the younger version of the character. Fellow Brit David Oyewolo will play Allen's son, Oprah Winfrey is cast as Allen's wife and Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard and Lenny Kravitz will also appear in the movie. Alan Rickman plays Ronald Reagan with Jane Fonda as his wife, John Cusack is Richard Nixon, Robin Williams is Dwight Eisenhower, Liam Neeson is Lyndon B. Johnson and James Marsden will play JFK with Minka Kelly as his on screen wife Jacqueline Kennedy.
'The Butler' has begun shooting in New Orleans; a release date is yet to be confirmed.
