Congrats to Ugandan-born British actor Arnold Oceng who has landed one of the lead roles in The Good Lie opposite Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon. The upcoming feature film is based on the real life story of four 'Lost Boys' from Sudan who were orphaned. Oceng reportedly plays one of the young men. Mamere, who eventually wins the lottery to be relocated to America while Witherspoon plays a brash, American woman assigned to help him. Filming will take place in Atlanta and South Africa.
Oceng has built up his acting credentials with roles in The Knot, Top Boy, Adulthood, 4,3,2,1 and My Brother The Devil. This looks like a huge breakout role for the young actor so wishing him all the best!
