From the creators and producers of ‘Brothers With No Game’, ‘How Did We Get Here?’ and ‘A Day In The Life Of Daddy’ & the creators and producers of ‘RoomieLoverFriend’, ‘The Couple’ and ‘Sexless’ comes a new comedy-drama series. BWNG and Black&Sexy are casting for various roles for their new and exciting transatlantic co-production.
Auditions are being held to find talented, charismatic and skilled actors/actresses for the following lead and supporting roles:
Daniel, 29, (black) is an emotionally distant yet direct and honest Senior Associate at a real estate investment firm. Although effortlessly charismatic and a natural born problem solver, he prefers to organise projects rather than people and situations. His view of the world is concrete and specific but all it takes is the right moment or person to bring out his spontaneity.
Pete. 28, (black) nicknamed Blackmire (Black Quagmire) for his hyper-sexuality, is a fun-loving party animal and one of the very few people who can connect with Daniel on an emotional level. He uses his charm and humour as an ice-breaker for awkward moments and to navigate his way through the TV industry.
Serena, 27 (ethnicity non-specific) is an assured and sharp-eyed HR officer, who’s also attending law school at LSE. Despite a demanding timetable she always finds time to balance work with play, and longs to find a kindred spirit she can kick it with.
Lawrence, 29, (black or mixed) is a childhood friend of Daniel who is getting married in a couple of months. He is observant, friendly and modest with spurts of sarcasm and a passion for unity. Struggling with the challenges of adulthood, he wished everybody had the time to be as close as they were in their teens.
Julius 49 (white), is the managing partner at Daniel’s real estate investment firm. He doesn’t say more than needs to be said, which means if you don’t catch it first time round, you’re screwed. With the swagger of Roger Sterling from Mad Men and the big presence of Chester Campbell of Peaky Blinders, Daniel looks up to him and is ready to follow in his footsteps.
When are the auditions?
The auditions take place on Saturday 2nd July and Sunday 3rd July
What is the shooting schedule?
Principal Photography for the project will start at the end of the summer, and continue within the final third of the year
