I attended this special screening on Saturday,a nd enjoyed it very much. It was nice to see Mrs Lawrence and her son Stuart. I felt that Mr Omaar dominated the question-and-answer session after the screening. I was also rather disappointed when I went to speak to Doreen Lawrence afterwards in order to express my sympathies and to say how much I admired her dignity. She nodded at me and then turned her back on me and started speaking to someone else. I was rather offended by this reaction, and felt totally snubbed. Mrs Lawrence has always had my support, and nobody was more pleased than I was when Dobson and Norris were found guilty. I t would have been nice to have received a little more courtesy from her.
@Jane Glad you enjoyed the event. I’m sure she appreciated your support, perhaps she was just overwhelmed and was trying to speak to everyone. Keep checking back to SceneTV for other events.
