Lenny Henry is an actor, writer and comedian from Dudley in the West Midlands. Last year he performed at the National Theatre in William Shakespeare’s ‘The Comedy of Errors’ as Antipholus of Syracuse (the handsome twin). Lenny is best known from his award winning television shows including Three of a Kind, The Lenny Henry Show, Chef, Tiswas and Lenny Henry In Pieces which won the Golden rose of Montreux in 2001. Lenny is a trustee of Comic Relief, whose Red Nose Day charity blockbuster last year raised over £74 million pounds. Hoorah! He is currently performing as Troy Maxson in Fence’ at the Duchess Theatre.
