Freema Agyeman has landed a great role in the CW Network's 'The Carrie Diaries', the prequel to the 'Sex & The City' series. The show is based on Candace Bushnell's novel of the same name and will follow Carrie Bradshaw as she lives in an 1980's Manhattan delving into topics such as love, life, family and friendships.
Deadline reported that Agyeman will play the character Larissa, Carrie's mentor, who is a "hip, cutting-edge editor/party girl who works at Interview magazine."
People are likely to recognise Agyeman as Martha Jones in Doctor Who and spin-off Torchwood; more recently as Alesha Phillips on Law & Order UK.
A huge congratulations to Freema on her new role, wishing her all the best!
