The Voice UK host Reggie Yates is to make his writing and directing debut in a short film for Channel 4’s arts strand Random Acts. The presenter has created five-minute short Patriarch, which will centre on a story about relationships between fathers and sons.
The film was originally shot as part of model agency Next Models’ exhibition I’ll Be Your Mirror, but has now been picked up by C4 and Yates is in talks about other films for Random Acts.
The short will air on Channel 4 on Wednesday 5th June at 10.55pm
