In the lead up to the Screen Nation Digital-iS Media Awards on 20th December, we'll be profiling all of the nominees. Next up we take a look at Life of Hers, which is up for Favourite Web Series Ensemble and Favourite Web Series.
Created by Cardy Films and written by Samantha Chioma, Life of Hers is a web series reflecting the lives and friendships of four millennials in a cosmopolitan city. It explores the complexities of life as a young woman of the African diaspora and some of the unique conflicts that can arise between inherited traditions and assimilated new cultures. Check out the series below, starring Helen Aluko, Nikki Fagbemi, Kamara Bacchus, Jacqueline Kirwan, Maria Pazouros, Tyson Douglas, Emmanuel Ogunjimi, Vanessa White-Smith and Lanre Olubamiwo.
