The Auteur is a brand new filmmaking series that features some of the finest emerging directors, actors and film talent around the UK. This series was created by Cardy Films TV and is essentially a platform for creatives to talk about their work and filmmaking journey, while sharing a few words of advice with other aspiring filmmakers looking to break into the industry.
The first episode (above) features the young director Eric Kolelas who talks about his filmmaking journey and the success of his short film and directorial debut Fifty Pence, which was selected at different festivals across Europe. Episode 2 (below) takes on award winning director Sebastian Thiel as he talks about the process behind the creation of his broadcast company Its Upshot, as well as the films and webseries that led him to become a household name in UK independent filmmaking.
