Did You Take Part in the ‘Britain in a Day’ Documentary Film Project?

Did any SceneTV readers pick up their cameras and get involved in the ‘Britain in a Day’ film project? See below for more information…

On Saturday 12th November 2011, people around the UK were asked to film a piece of footage, either of themselves, other people or just something interesting, to be included in the documentary project ‘Britain in a Day’. The footage did not have to look great, you could have even used a mobile phone, plus it didn’t need to be edited either. All of the footage submitted via the project's YouTube page will be condensed into a feature length documentary which will be shown on BBC2 next year.

The film is being produced by Ridley Scott’s production company Scott Free and is inspired by Kevin Macdonald’s ‘Life in a Day’ (Currently available on iPlayer and You Tube) which applied the same principle across the globe.

For more info, visit the YouTube page and to keep abreast of developments, follow 'Britain in a Day' on Facebook and Twitter. If you did film something on 12th November, you have until 21st November to upload them onto the YouTube page.

Let us know whether you got involved by commenting below or sending us a tweet at @SceneTV.

Fingers crossed your piece gets selected!
