Event | Celebrate black British digital stars at the 2018 Screen Nation Digital is Media Awards

The 4th Screen Nation Digital is Media Awards returns once again to showcase the best online work from black British digital media creatives working across short film, web series, music promos, blogs, magazines, podcasts, talk shows, social networks and more. This prestigious event will take place on Sunday 14th January 2018 at its new home of Tiger Tiger, right in the heart of London’s west end. With the constant debate about the lack of inclusion across mainstream media channels, the Screen Nation Digital is Media Awards is a great way to provide emerging voices with a platform that recognises and rewards the wealth of talent succeeding in the digital arena.

Fronting the show will be two creative talents; actor, writer, producer and all around loveable dad Nii Odartei Evans, who hosts alongside actress, writer and twerk fitness guru Kelechi Okafor. Angelica ‘GeGe’ Bagot (@TribalUnicorn), the high energy creative online entrepreneur, is the newly appointed Creative Director. The ceremony and behind the scenes proceedings will be streamed on YouTube and Facebook Live and highlights of the event will be broadcast on a Sky channel at a later date.
