The nominations for the 2014 Screen Nation Awards will be announced on Google+ Hangout live from Vox Africa Studios on Wednesday 22nd January from 10.30am. Actor/director Chucky Venn, web series star Letitia Hector and Vox Africa's Fernand Frimpong Jnr will take the reins as the best from the world of black television and film are declared potential Screen Nation award winners.
Using this unique format, the nominations will be streamed live on the Screen Nation and Vox Africa websites and across social media on Google+, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter pages to reach audiences across the globe.

Once announced, voting for nominees in all categories including those open to the public will take place from 12pm, 23rd January until 12am, 20th February with public voting categories accessed exclusively via the Screen Nation website.
The 9th Screen Nation Film & Television Awards, takes place on Sunday 23rd February 2014 at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London. The star-studded ceremony will be hosted by the hilarious comedian Ali Baba aka the Godfather of Nigerian comedy who shares the stage with Caroline Chikezie, the gorgeous Hollywood based actress and newest star of the iconic 24 series starring Kiefer Sutherland.
