Opportunity | Apply for the BFI’s NET.WORK at LFF filmmaker programme for BAME talent

NET.WORK at LFF 1_0

NET.WORK at LFF is an internationally focused professional development programme at the very heart of the BFI London Film Festival.

For the third year in a row, BFI NET.WORK in conjunction with the London Film Festival will provide a unique opportunity for up to 15 UK writers and directors to participate in masterclasses, screenings, events and one to one meetings with industry professionals. This year the initiative will align with the BFI’s Black Star Blockbuster, and in celebration of that will have a BAME focus. Applications will be open to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic filmmakers who must have already built an exciting body of professional work that is garnering positive attention.

The intensive 3.5-day event combines masterclasses, private screenings, facilitated networking and one-to-ones with exclusive opportunities to meet and interact with leading international filmmakers and industry executives drawn from the Festival’s programme. Participants receive accreditation for the entire duration of the BFI London Film Festival. The programme is aimed at emerging filmmakers from across the UK who have the creative ambition and desire to tell stories that will resonate with both a British and international cinema audience. Additional NET.WORK filmmakers from across the UK will also have special access to select events in the Festival’s industry programme.

Applications are now open and will close Wednesday 24th August.
