The role is an exciting opportunity to work with a digital channel to develop social-first ideas, experiment with formats and build solid social strategies for BBC Three content that will reach and engage new audiences. The role will cover BBC Three’s collaboration with big BBC Entertainment brands such as Strictly, Dragon’s Den and The Apprentice, as well as original BBC Three content.
You will provide essential social support for our BBC Three Birmingham team, working to the Head of Social and Executive Producer. Working with Content, Marketing & Commissioning teams you will turn programme and marketing briefs into digital/social activations that go above and beyond traditional promotion. This will include creating and implementing social strategies at brand, programme and campaign level.
You will understand how to plan effective optimisation and scheduling for digital content across a range of platforms and be experienced in devising digital strategy for social accounts.
