Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates have been confirmed as hosts of The Voice UK. As well as presenting the programme, they will provide interviews with competing artistes and the celebrity coaching panel.

Holly, best known to audiences for hosting This Morning and five series of Dancing On Ice, comes to The Voice with a wealth of presenting experience, also including Celebrity Juice and The Xtra Factor.

She says: “I’m so excited to be hosting The Voice. When it launched in America I watched one of the shows and thought it was just a fantastic format, and when I heard it was coming to the UK I thought to myself how incredible it would be to be a part of it. It’s going to be one roller coaster of a ride and I can’t wait to get started!”

Reggie Yates is known to music lovers throughout the country for his Radio 1 Request and Chart shows, Glastonbury, Reading, T-in the Park and Big Weekend coverage, and hosting the MOBO Awards. He’s also appeared on Move Like Michael Jackson, Famous, Rich And In The Slums and presented three music specials for MTV.

Reggie says: "I’m so delighted to get this job and be part of such a credible music show. The format of The Voice in America has worked brilliantly and I have no doubt it will be just as successful on British TV.

BBC One Controller Danny Cohen says: "Holly and Reggie feel like a perfect partnership for The Voice. They are both big fans of the show and will bring a huge amount of passion and enthusiasm to the production."

Jessie J has been confirmed as the first celebrity coach on The Voice and three more artistes will be announced in the near future. The Voice UK is slated for Spring, 2012 on BBC One.
