Step2TV and BFI Launch ‘Doc Next Scheme 2011’

A great opportunity for film and documentary makers has been launched: the Doc Next Scheme 2011 is a programme from Step2TV and BFI which aims to provide mentoring, funding and exposure for new and aspiring talent.

Are you an aspiring documentary filmmaker between 16-25 years old? Are you looking to kickstart or further your filmmaking career? Step2TV and BFI have an exciting opportunity for emerging documentary talent. You can gain £500 funding towards producing your documentary idea, mentoring by industry experts and worldwide exposure. We are looking for four upcoming filmmakers passionate about factual film interested to bring unique stories to light. Your films must be less than ten minutes long and they should be based on the next round of the Reality Capture Pitch themes.
